Dear Medicare Supporters,
With the coming 2014 Health Accord, we have a once in a decade opportunity to make positive changes to public health care and the Nova Scotia Citizens’ Health Network’s Annual General Meeting is a great place to learn more about the Health Accord!
This year, we are celebrating our 15th anniversary as an organization, and are pleased to have Maureen MacDonald, Minister of Health and Wellness, as our guest speaker for the AGM. Minister MacDonald will speak about her vision on the 2014 Health Accord.
We will also be joined by Adrienne Silnicki, National Health Care Campaigner with the Council of Canadians, who will to lead a discussion on the 2014 Health Accord, and how to move our agenda forward.
The AGM will take place on Saturday, September 17th from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm at the CAW Hall, 63 Otter Lake Court in Bayers Lake in Halifax. Lunch will be provided.
Please RSVP if you plan to attend so we know numbers for lunch. Reply to firstname.lastname@example.org .
With the Health Accord we have a chance for real change in health care, for new programs like Pharmacare, and to stop privatization. Don’t miss your chance to hear Minister MacDonald on this important topic!
